Brother Gray was born in Midland, Texas, on November 21, 1946.
Bro. Gray graduated from the Nashville Christian Institute, Nashville, Tennessee, where he traveled with Bro. Marshall Keeble. He also graduated from Southwestern Christian College, Terrell, Texas, East Texas State University, Commerce and Iliff School of Theology, Denver, Colorado.
Bro. Gray preached for the Saints in Denver, CO for 22 years. After a year's retirement, he became the minister for the West End Church of Christ, in Terrell, TX in 2008. Bro. Gray returned to Denver and served as one of the ministers of the East Denver Church of Christ in 2012.
Bro. Gray retired again in 2019 and worshipped with the Smoky Hill Church of Christ, Centennial, CO.
In 2021 he began serving as minister for the Forest St. Church of Christ, Denver, CO.
In January 1970, he married Peggy Spann of Marshall, Texas. They have four children: Willie Jr., Chadwick, Julia S. Baker (deceased), and Jonathan (deceased)

Brother Eric L. Williams and his wife (Princesa Dianna Williams) have been married for 11 years. Originally from South Carolina, Bro. Eric is the middle brother of the oldest, Shammond, and the youngest is AJ, who is currently at Xavier University. Bro. Eric played a little basketball (collegiate and professional overseas). He is currently a high school physical education teacher and the head boys’ varsity basketball coach in Las Vegas. Bro. Eric has been speaking for the Lord for three years in the pulpit, and he has been doing devotionals with all his student-athletes for eight years.
